Coronavirus is killing many elderly. TOO MANY. The situation is extreme, especially in the care homes. The death rate is too high. Us Youth for Peace know very well the sad reality of care homes, where older people feel often alone and forgotten.

With them we've shared happy times and hugs. However now we are indignant.

​

We cannot go on like this!

​

From the care homes we've visited we have sad news. 

​

It is time to change. Yes to the physical distance to avoid contagion: no to abandonment.

​

We cannot let our elderly generation, our grandparents die.

​

We want to be the voice of our elderly as their voices are not heard: help us to support them!

​

We have sent PPE equipment to the care home staff we used to visit here in London before COVID-19, so they can better deal with the emergency. We have also made a video

to keep our older friends company.
