Coronavirus update

Updated: Nov 14, 2020

Do not leave anyone alone, especially the most fragile and vulnerable people, in the face of the spread of the coronavirus epidemic. This is the need Sant'Egidio is currently trying to respond to, with a sense of responsibility, to effectively contribute to containment of the contagion, in compliance with the necessary measures, maintaining, and if possible strengthening, those bonds of solidarity that for many represent a vital support.

Some of the precautionary measures to adopt

  • Wash hands very often: avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth if you haven't washed your hands. Carry with you some hand gel when you are out and about

  • Avoid hugs, handshakes and getting too close to vulnerable people and maintain a relative distance between each other

  • Remain at home if you're not feeling well and have any cold or flu-like symptoms
