About the Event
Come and join the Community of Sant'Egidio for a heart-warming afternoon at "Our Cup of Tea", hosted by St. Cuthbert's Earls Court church. Enjoy engaging discussions over a hot cup of tea, all while contributing to making the dream of a more inclusive London possible, one free meal for all at a time. Your assistance is crucial in coordinating this uplifting event on a monthly basis. Discover how kindness and togetherness can enhance everyone's lives by participating in this truly unique event. Together with you, we will have a significant impact!
Timeline
12.00noon All helpers have a free lunch together - a lovely informal chance to get to know one another
1.00pm We prepare the church hall, the tables and divide ourselves into groups to welcome our guests
4.00pm Our guests' dinner takes place - we are in our action stations
6.00pm First clean-up
6.30pm Prayer time
7.00pm Second clean-up
7.30pm Helpers' free dinner
8.00pm Final clean-up & Goodbyes
When you RSVP, you have a chance to select the parts of the day you would like to attend. Please make a note of them at the time of signup as these will not be reminded to you later on given that you are able to decide and personalise your agenda with which slot or slots to participate in. Please do come on time, we are expecting you and look forward to your presence and helping hands!
